Enlightened Solitude

A face stood alone in the dark, dimly lit by the light coming through the window.

'I wish you could see your own face right now'. Truth was that I had no words for portraying such unique view. What I had were hands to touch that physical representation of the intellectual spirit that had charmed me in the first place.

Stood alone in the dark.
In the end, it is all about standing alone.
It is all about finding in someone else the part that was missing in one's soul, as in an eternal path towards the wholeness of the spirit.
Once such part is found, the spirit returns to its original lonely road - until the day it feels incomplete again.
One by one, getting all the parts together, always alone, the spirit goes on trapped inside any human body which complains about any pain.

Both of us alone in the dark.
No one could ever tell where each body began or where it ended.
Dark sees no form.
Dark sees no flaw, no weakness, no blind demonstration of oppressed feelings.
Dark swallows the body, and sets the spirit free to fly and fill the air around it.
Dark frees us from our enlightened solitude.
No body, no expectation, no pain, no disappointment.
Only the dark and one whole soul.
